ADRA Nepal office consists of more than 100 staff members who are engaged in different five main portfolios: Health, Education, Economic Development, Good Governance and Emergency Management. It has three regional offices in Biratnagar, Butwal and Nepalgunj. The ADRA central office consists of program team leaders, administrators, technical supports and personnel support as well Regional Program Manager, technical and admin staff, field and support staff in regional offices.
Our Senior Leaders
Mr. Simon Lewis began working for ADRA Nepal in January 2010. He previously worked with ADRA Papua New Guinea as Program Director. Previous to working with ADRA Simon was a teacher in Australia. Simon enjoys working in a team. His aim is to provide the best support for the ADRA program through encouraging each person to make the best use of their talents and skills. He is currently undertaking a Master International and Community Development from Deakin University, Australia.
Simon lives here with his wife Marilyn (ADRA Nepal Health Technical Advisor) and his two daughters; Tiarna and Jenaya. |
Ms. Bidya Mahat, Program Director, has over 20 years of progressive professional experience with ADRA in Nepal. She has extensive knowledge of project management as handled successfully top management levels in different sectors of organization, which includes Program Management, Administration, Planning and Development, and Government and Donor Relations.
Ms. Mahat has a Master Degree in MSA in international Community Development from Andrew University, USA and also has Master in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She has received much valuable training and has participated in important workshops-National/International level.
ADRA Nepal is very much proud to have her as the Program Director. With her leadership, guidance and support, the program team of ADRA Nepal certainly will become more strong and efficient.

Mr. Mohan Nepal joined ADRA Nepal on 14 October 2008, as Finance and Administration Director. Mr. Nepal is a Chartered Accountant and has 22 years of extensive working experience in the field of finance and administration which included many international postings for almost 17 years. Most recently he was with CARE Mozambique as an Assistant Country Director for Program Support. ADRA Nepal is very much pleased to have Mr. Nepal in our team. |
