ADRA Nepal office consists of 74 staff members currently who are engaged in different five main portfolios: Health, Education, Economic Development, Good Governance and Emergency Management. It has regional office in Nepalgunj. The ADRA central office consists of Administrators, Program Managers, Technical Supports and Personnel Support as well Regional Program Manager, technical and admin staff, field and support staff in regional office.
Our Senior Leaders
Mr. Simon Lewis began working for ADRA Nepal in January 2010. He previously worked with ADRA Papua New Guinea as Program Director. Previous to working with ADRA Simon was a teacher in Australia. Simon enjoys working in a team. His aim is to provide the best support for the ADRA program through encouraging each person to make the best use of their talents and skills. He is currently undertaking a Master International and Community Development from Deakin University, Australia.
Simon lives here with his wife Marilyn (ADRA Nepal Health Technical Advisor) and his two daughters; Tiarna and Jenaya. |
Ms. Bidya Mahat, Program Director, has over 20 years of progressive professional experience with ADRA in Nepal. She has extensive knowledge of project management as handled successfully top management levels in different sectors of organization, which includes Program Management, Administration, Planning and Development, and Government and Donor Relations.
Ms. Mahat has a Master Degree in MSA in international Community Development from Andrew University, USA and also has Master in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She has received much valuable training and has participated in important workshops-National/International level.
ADRA Nepal is very much proud to have her as the Program Director. With her leadership, guidance and support, the program team of ADRA Nepal certainly will become more strong and efficient.

Mr. Yuba Raj Chaudhary , Finance and Administration Director, joined the ADRA team on the 16th of July, 2011. Mr. Chaudhary holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has over 18 years of work experience in finance, administration and management.
Mr. Chaudhary has acquired extensive knowledge, skills and experience over the years and has worked in key positions in other organizations such as Finance and Administration Director (iDE Nepal), Finance and Administration Manager (AMDA Nepal), Financial Management Advisor (GWP) and Finance Officer (NEWAH). He has also worked with Save the Children US, DiSvi International (Italian INGO) and ENPHO.
Mr. Chaudhary gained a depth of experience through his varied financial management work with different grants from International Governments, the UN and INGOs. His combination of skills and knowledge in the areas of finance, programs, policy and grant management will make him a valuable member of the ADRA Nepal team.
